- In this work, an active RIS is employed to mitigate the four-hop multiplicative fading effect in the sensing link of ISAC systems. The sensing SNR becomes a quartic function of RIS reflection coefficients, and the scaling order of radar SNR and active RIS deployment strategy are studied.

- Simulation Code
- Uplink ISAC receivers are tasked with both uplink communication signal detection and target parameter estimation from radar echoes. These works transform the joint signal detection and target estimation problem into a two-step projection-based problem and use homotopy-based optimization for smoother approximation.
